Company intelligence / Profile preview
EKIMAS Corporation was the renamed successor to AdvanSource Biomaterials, a U.S. biomaterials company that developed and sold advanced polymer materials used in medical devices. Its product portfolio historically included polyurethane- and hydrogel-based biomaterials such as ChronoFlex, ChronoSil, HydroMed, HydroThane, and PolyBlend for use across multiple anatomical sites and disease states. After selling substantially all operating assets to Mitsubishi Chemical Performance Polymers on January 31, 2020, EKIMAS ceased operating as a manufacturer and became a public shell seeking a merger or acquisition target. In 2023, it completed a reverse-acquisition transaction with Nordicus Partners and changed its corporate name to Nordicus Partners Corporation. As a result, EKIMAS is best understood as a historical healthcare/biomaterials operating company rather than an active standalone biotech or pharma business today.
