Overview

Eldec’s lead candidate ELD607 is a first-in-class peptidomimetic modulator of Orai1. In preclinical animal models of chronic lung disease and sepsis, ELD607 has shown the ability to reduce inflammation, improve survival in bacterial pneumonia and sepsis models, and reverse existing lung damage without causing immunosuppression. The compound has also demonstrated anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory effects in multiple animal studies but has not yet entered clinical trials.[3][8]
