Elkins Sinn Div Ah Robins

Elkins-Sinn was a specialized pharmaceutical company focused on the development and manufacture of generic injectable medications. Originally an independent firm founded in 1967, it became a key division of the A.H. Robins Company in 1974, providing a wide array of essential hospital drugs including anesthetics, anticoagulants, and anti-inflammatories. The company was particularly recognized for its Dosette system, a line of ready-to-use injectable products designed for clinical efficiency and safety. After A.H. Robins was acquired by American Home Products (later Wyeth) in 1989, Elkins-Sinn was merged into ESI Lederle before being sold to West-Ward Pharmaceuticals. Today, its manufacturing heritage and facilities in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, are part of Hikma Pharmaceuticals global operations.
