Elscint

Elscint was a pioneering Israeli medical imaging company that specialized in the development and manufacture of advanced diagnostic equipment, including Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Nuclear Medicine systems. Founded in 1969, it became a global leader in the medical technology sector and was the first Israeli company to list on the NASDAQ. During the late 1990s, the company's core business units were sold to major industry players GE Healthcare and Philips (formerly Picker). Today, the Elscint brand is primarily recognized for its historical contributions to medical imaging innovation and its role in establishing the Israeli high-tech industry.
