EM Vascular

EM Vascular was a medical technology company focused on developing innovative therapies for vascular diseases through its proprietary electrically mediated angiogenesis platform. Founded in 2000 by John Hauck and Dr. Keith March, the company developed a device-based approach to stimulate the growth of new blood vessels in ischemic tissues using controlled electrical fields. This technology was primarily aimed at treating conditions such as peripheral artery disease and chronic heart failure. In 2008, the company's assets and intellectual property were acquired by ATS Medical, which was later acquired by Medtronic in 2010, integrating the technology into a broader cardiovascular portfolio.
