- lumbar degenerative spondylolisthesis, spinal stenosis
Company intelligence / Profile preview
Empirical Spine has developed the LimiFlex Dynamic Sagittal Tether, a minimally invasive spinal stabilization device designed as an alternative to lumbar fusion for patients with degenerative spondylolisthesis and lumbar spinal stenosis. The pivotal U.S. IDE trial comparing LimiFlex to standard fusion surgery has been completed, with positive interim results presented at major conferences and a full PMA submission made to the FDA by December 2022. Over two thousand patients have been treated with LimiFlex in Europe since its CE mark approval in 2009, showing robust motion-preserving outcomes and reduced invasiveness compared to traditional fusion.
