Overview
INNA-051 has demonstrated accelerated virus clearance and stimulation of antiviral host defenses in a Phase IIa proof-of-principle study using a human influenza-challenge model. A Phase 1 study in older adults (66-80 years) showed INNA-051 was well-tolerated and increased important antiviral host-defense pathways. Pre-clinical data demonstrated reduced influenza virus dissemination to the lungs of aged mice.[5][7]
