Encino-Tarzana Regional Medical Center

Encino-Tarzana Regional Medical Center was a prominent dual-campus healthcare facility located in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, California. Operated by Tenet Healthcare, the center consisted of the Encino and Tarzana hospital campuses, providing a wide range of acute care services including emergency medicine, pediatrics, and surgical care. In 2008, the combined entity was dissolved when Tenet sold the campuses to separate healthcare providers. The Tarzana campus was acquired by Providence Health & Services (now Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center), while the Encino campus was acquired by Prime Healthcare Services (now Encino Hospital Medical Center). The center was particularly noted for its comprehensive pediatric services and its role as a primary medical hub for the local community.
