Endiatx has developed PillBot™, a swallowable, remote-controlled robotic capsule that provides real-time video imaging of the stomach. The device aims to replace traditional invasive endoscopy with a minimally invasive alternative. Clinical trials are ongoing and FDA clearance has not yet been obtained as of July 2024. Early demonstrations have shown successful navigation and visualization in live human subjects at major conferences.
