Overview
enGene’s lead candidate, EG‑70 (detalimogene voraplasmid), a non‑viral immunotherapy delivered via the proprietary DDX platform, is in a pivotal Phase 1/2 registrational study (“LEGEND”) targeting BCG-unresponsive NMIBC with carcinoma in situ. Interim data are expected mid‑2024. The therapy aims to generate a local immune response against tumors while offering ease of administration and potentially improved safety compared to viral-based gene therapies. Early results suggest promising therapeutic activity and safety profile.
