Enskilda Securities

SEB Enskilda, formerly known as Enskilda Securities, was a prominent Nordic investment bank and a subsidiary of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB). Headquartered in Stockholm, the firm specialized in corporate finance, equity research, and brokerage services, maintaining a dominant position in the Scandinavian capital markets for several decades. It was particularly active in advising on mergers, acquisitions, and initial public offerings, including many high-profile transactions in the life sciences and technology sectors. In the early 2000s, the entity was fully integrated into SEB's Merchant Banking division, and the standalone Enskilda brand was eventually retired. Despite its involvement in financing healthcare companies as an advisor, SEB Enskilda itself is a financial services provider and not a biotechnology or pharmaceutical entity.
