EORTC NDDO

NDDO Oncology, originally established as the New Drug Development Office (NDDO) of the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC), was a specialized Contract Research Organization (CRO) focused on early-phase oncology drug development. Based in Amsterdam, the organization provided strategic consultancy, clinical trial management, and regulatory support to global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. It was renowned for its ability to translate complex scientific concepts into efficient clinical development plans, particularly for Phase 1 and Phase 2 trials. The company maintained strong ties with the EORTC network, offering clients access to top-tier European clinical investigators and academic expertise. In 2011, NDDO Oncology was acquired by Ockham, a global CRO, and its specialized oncology capabilities were later integrated into Chiltern and subsequently Labcorp.
