Eppendorf Array Technologies

Eppendorf Array Technologies (EAT) was a specialized subsidiary of Eppendorf AG that focused on the development and commercialization of microarray-based solutions for life science research. Established in 2002 following the acquisition of Eurogentec's microarray business, the company was headquartered in Namur, Belgium. Its flagship technology, the DualChip platform, provided standardized low-density microarrays for gene expression analysis and molecular diagnostics, integrating specialized buffers and automated hybridization systems. The company's products were widely utilized in academic and pharmaceutical laboratories for pathway analysis and toxicogenomics. Eppendorf eventually phased out the EAT business unit in late 2010 as part of a strategic realignment toward its core laboratory liquid handling and sample preparation portfolios.
