Equitilink

Equitilink was a prominent Australian investment management firm founded in 1981 by Laurence Freedman and Brian Sherman. While not a biotechnology or life sciences company itself, it played a significant role in the Australian financial landscape and was known for managing a variety of investment funds, including those with international exposure. The company gained notoriety for its aggressive marketing and successful growth during the 1980s and 1990s. In 2000, Equitilink was acquired by Aberdeen Asset Management, marking the end of its independent operations.
