Erie County Family Voices

Family Voices Network of Erie County is a family-led system of care and wraparound service delivery model based in Buffalo, New York. The organization provides comprehensive, coordinated, and individualized services for children and youth experiencing serious emotional, social, and behavioral challenges. Established in 2004 with federal funding from SAMHSA, the network operates as a partnership between the Erie County Department of Mental Health, the Department of Social Services, and various community-based agencies. Its primary goal is to support families in stabilizing their home environments and preventing out-of-home placements or hospitalizations through a culturally competent, strengths-based approach. The network utilizes a Single Point of Accountability (SPOA) process to manage care coordination and ensure that high-need youth receive integrated support across mental health, juvenile justice, and child welfare systems.
