Company intelligence / Profile preview
ErySave is a Swedish medical technology company and a spin-off from Lund University that specializes in acoustic cell manipulation. The company developed a proprietary platform based on acoustic standing wave technology, known as acoustophoresis, to separate and wash blood cells without the use of physical filters or membranes. Its primary application is in autologous blood salvage during cardiac surgery, where it effectively removes lipid particles and other contaminants from shed blood to reduce post-operative complications. ErySave's technology was licensed to ATS Medical (now part of Medtronic) for the commercialization of the PARSUS blood filtration system.
