eSATURNUS is a Belgium-origin medtech and healthcare IT company focused on digital operating room integration, clinical video-over-IP workflow, and medical data management. The company developed the NUCLeUS platform, which enables processing, control, and distribution of multiple image sources and medical information across operating rooms and hospital environments. Founded as a KU Leuven-linked spin-off, eSATURNUS built expertise in integrated OR workflows and deployed its solutions internationally before being acquired by Sony Europe in 2016. Following the acquisition, its technology became part of Sony's healthcare solutions efforts for digitally integrated operating rooms and clinical imaging workflows. The business is healthcare-related, but it is not a therapeutics developer and does not operate a drug pipeline.
