EUCYT Laboratories

EUCYT was a Las Vegas-based regenerative medicine and biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing stem cell-, exosome-, and perinatal tissue-derived products. The company marketed products derived from umbilical cord blood, umbilical cord, amniotic fluid, placental tissue, and related biologic materials, and publicly promoted COVIXO, a mesenchymal stem-cell-derived therapy intended for COVID-19 and inflammatory lung disease. EUCYT also offered products such as VidaCord, VidaGel, VidaStem, XOsomes, and VidaFlo for allogeneic use. In 2020, the U.S. FDA issued a warning letter alleging that several EUCYT products were unapproved drugs/biologics and did not qualify for regulation solely as HCT/Ps. Third-party company trackers subsequently described EUCYT as deadpooled, and bankruptcy records indicate a Chapter 7 filing in late 2020, suggesting the business is no longer operating as an active biotech company.
