Eurocept Groep was a prominent Dutch healthcare company that operated through two primary divisions: Eurocept Pharmaceuticals and Eurocept Homecare. The company specialized in an integrated care model, providing specialty pharmaceutical products alongside complex medical technology and nursing services in a home setting. Its pharmaceutical portfolio was notably anchored by Pheburane, a treatment for urea cycle disorders, and a range of anesthetics licensed from major partners. Between 2021 and 2022, the group was split and acquired by two different entities, with Mediq purchasing the homecare division and Norgine acquiring the pharmaceuticals business. This strategic dissolution marked the end of its operation as an independent integrated healthcare provider.
