Company intelligence / Profile preview
Everest Consolidator Acquisition is a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), also known as a blank check company, formed to complete a merger, stock purchase, reorganization, or similar business combination. It was organized in 2021 and completed its IPO in November 2021. Although its original search criteria included healthcare and life sciences among other sectors, the company is not itself a biotech, pharma, or healthcare operating company and does not have a therapeutic pipeline. Everest announced a proposed business combination with Unifund in 2023, but later filings indicate that transaction was terminated in 2024. As of early 2026, the company remained in existence and was seeking stockholder approval to extend the deadline for completing a business combination to December 31, 2026.
