Overview
EVerZom’s lead candidate, EVerGel—a combination of exosomes with a hydrogel biomaterial—has shown highly promising preclinical results in a porcine model of complex perianal fistulas associated with Crohn’s disease. Complete healing was achieved in 87.5% of treated cases versus only 12.5% in controls after four weeks. Clinical trials are targeted to begin as early as 2026; commercialization could occur by around 2030 if successful.
