Evident designs and manufactures advanced life science microscopy solutions for research, clinical diagnostics/pathology/cytology, education, and industrial applications. The company was formerly the Scientific Solutions division of Olympus Corporation before becoming an independent entity in 2023. Its products include high-performance microscopes (brightfield/darkfield/fluorescence/confocal), digital pathology systems with AI-driven analysis capabilities, cameras for scientific imaging, as well as industrial measurement tools such as XRF analyzers and borescopes. Their technologies are widely used in academic research centers—including cancer biology labs—clinical labs for diagnostics support via digital pathology workflows—and across diverse industries requiring precision inspection or quality control. They do not develop drugs or biologics but enable discovery through their instrumentation.
