Overview
ExcellaBio has developed a patented process for manufacturing synthetic exosomes ("Bioxomes") that enables uniform particle size and scalable production. These Bioxomes mimic natural extracellular vesicles by delivering intracellular cargo such as nucleic acids or proteins into target cells. The technology aims to unlock new cell/gene therapy applications by providing safer alternatives to whole-cell therapies. No direct clinical results have been published yet—current status appears preclinical/platform-focused.
