F-star Delta

F-star Delta was a specialized biotechnology company and a subsidiary of F-star Therapeutics, focused on the development of bispecific antibodies using the proprietary Fcab technology. The company was primarily established to facilitate a strategic collaboration with Denali Therapeutics centered on the Transport Vehicle (TV) platform. This platform engineers the Fc region of an antibody to bind to transport receptors, such as the transferrin receptor, enabling the delivery of large molecules across the blood-brain barrier. In May 2018, Denali Therapeutics exercised its option to acquire F-star Delta to gain full control over the technology for its central nervous system pipeline. The acquisition has since enabled the development of several clinical-stage programs for neurodegenerative and lysosomal storage diseases.
