Falcon Therapeutics is a pre-clinical stage biotechnology company focused on developing a cell-based delivery platform for the treatment of aggressive cancers, particularly glioblastoma. The company's proprietary Falcon Platform utilizes induced neural stem cells (iNSCs) created from a patient's own skin cells through a transdifferentiation process. These engineered cells possess a natural homing ability to track and migrate toward cancer cells throughout the brain, even reaching invasive cells that surgery and radiation cannot. By loading these iNSCs with various therapeutic payloads, such as pro-apoptotic agents or oncolytic viruses, Falcon Therapeutics aims to provide a targeted and persistent treatment for invasive tumors.
