Farmacusi

Farmacusi S.A. was a Spanish pharmaceutical company based in Barcelona that specialized in the development and commercialization of products for dermatology, cardiovascular health, and hematology. The company was a significant player in the Spanish market, notably serving as the local partner and distributor for LEO Pharma's portfolio before being acquired by the Danish pharmaceutical company in 1996. Its commercial catalog featured prominent brands such as Fordiuran (bumetanide) for the treatment of edema and Innohep (tinzaparin) for thromboembolic disorders. Following the acquisition, Farmacusi's operations and product lines were integrated into LEO Pharma's Spanish subsidiary, which continues to operate in the region.
