Farmmedindustriya Kazakhstan

Farmmedindustriya is the primary industry association representing the pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing sector in Kazakhstan. Established to consolidate the interests of domestic producers, the association plays a critical role in shaping the country's healthcare policy, regulatory framework, and import substitution strategies. It works closely with the Ministry of Health and the state distributor, SK-Pharmacia, to promote the development of local manufacturing capabilities and ensure the supply of essential medicines. The association's members include major Kazakhstani pharmaceutical plants such as Chimpharm (Santo), Nobel AFF, and Abdi Ibrahim Global Pharm. Farmmedindustriya is instrumental in the implementation of national projects aimed at increasing the share of locally produced drugs in the domestic market to 50% by 2025.
