Company intelligence / Profile preview
Fellows Medical Manufacturing Company was a pharmaceutical firm active during the mid-20th century, specializing in the production of generic and proprietary drug formulations. The company was notably recognized for its Fellows-Testagar division and its production of chloral hydrate under the brand name Felsules, which was widely used as a sedative and hypnotic. Headquartered in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, the company maintained a diverse portfolio of small molecule therapeutics, including vitamins, tonics, and respiratory treatments. In 1971, the company was acquired by Chromalloy American Corporation, becoming a key component of its pharmaceutical division.
