Fermatex Vascular Technologies, formerly known as Vascular Graft Solutions (VGS), is a medical device company specializing in the development of external stenting and anastomosis solutions for vascular surgery. The company's flagship product, VEST (Vascular External Stent), is a cobalt-chrome external stent designed to prevent vein graft failure in coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) by improving hemodynamics and reducing wall tension. Its portfolio also includes the FRAME platform for peripheral bypass and the VIOLA device for clampless proximal anastomosis. In October 2022, the company's assets were acquired by LeMaitre Vascular for $15 million to enhance its cardiac and peripheral vascular product offerings.
