Fertile Hope

Fertile Hope was a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing reproductive information and support to cancer patients and survivors whose medical treatments presented a risk of infertility. Founded in 2001, the organization focused on the emerging field of oncofertility, offering resources to help patients understand their options for fertility preservation before starting chemotherapy or radiation. It provided financial assistance programs, educational materials, and a comprehensive database of fertility centers for patients. In 2009, Fertile Hope was acquired by the LIVESTRONG Foundation to integrate its specialized fertility resources into LIVESTRONG's broader suite of cancer support services. The organization's legacy continues through the LIVESTRONG Fertility program, which remains a primary resource for cancer-related reproductive health.
