Fetch Robotics is a pioneer in on-demand automation, specializing in Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) for the warehousing, logistics, and life sciences sectors. Founded in 2014 and headquartered in San Jose, California, the company developed the Fetch Cloud Robotics Platform to integrate hardware and software for automated material handling and data collection. Its product line includes robots such as the Freight series for transport and the Fetch mobile manipulator, which has been utilized in research and clinical laboratory settings. In 2021, the company was acquired by Zebra Technologies for $290 million to bolster its industrial automation and enterprise asset intelligence portfolio. As of early 2026, the division's operations have been wound down by its parent company.
