FiatLux Imaging was a medical software company based in Redmond, Washington, that specialized in advanced 2D and 3D visualization for medical imaging data. Founded in 2007, the company developed the 'Visualize' software platform, which leveraged DirectX game programming technology to provide high-quality, affordable image reconstruction on standard PCs and mobile devices. The software received FDA 510(k) clearance in 2008 and was designed to enhance clinical workflows by allowing physicians to analyze CT and MRI scans at the point of care or remotely. FiatLux established key partnerships with hardware manufacturers like Panasonic and Philips to integrate its software into mobile clinical assistants.
