Overview
FX06 demonstrated positive Phase II results for reducing myocardial necrosis following acute myocardial infarction. The peptide showed statistically significant efficacy compared to placebo in the FIRE study with over 230 patients. FX06 binds VE-cadherin to inhibit tissue inflammation/injury and preserve endothelial barrier function. Further development was planned via partnership with Ikaria Holdings.
