Fidelity Biomedical Research Initiative

FBRI is a biomedical research initiative affiliated with F-Prime Capital and wholly owned by FMR LLC, the parent organization associated with Fidelity. It appears to function primarily as a research, funding, and ecosystem-building organization rather than as a drug-development biotech company. FBRI has a longstanding focus on neurodegenerative disease and has been involved in supporting company creation and scientific initiatives in areas such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, ALS, and related disorders. It also operates or oversees scientific information resources such as Alzforum. Based on publicly available information, FBRI itself does not appear to market therapeutics or maintain a conventional clinical pipeline.
