Filana Therapeutics is a pre-clinical stage biotechnology company focused on developing novel small molecule therapeutics that modulate protein folding and degradation pathways. Spun out of Tufts University, the company leverages the research of Dr. Daniel Jay to target the Heat Shock Protein 90 (Hsp90) chaperone system. Their approach focuses on disrupting specific protein-protein interactions to address unmet needs in oncology and neurodegenerative diseases, including Parkinson's and Gaucher disease.
