- Advanced heart failure
Company intelligence / Profile preview
FineHeart has developed the FlowMaker®, a fully implantable left ventricular assist device designed to work in synergy with the heart’s natural contraction. The company received authorization in June 2025 to begin its First-In-Human clinical trial in France after initial successful implantations in Prague. Early results presented at international congresses indicate promising safety and feasibility for patients with advanced heart failure, aiming for less invasive intervention and preservation of native cardiac function compared to current devices.
