First Wave Technologies

First Wave Technologies was a U.S. medical device company focused on acute-care and long-term-care products, particularly systems intended to improve pharmaceutical and medical gas delivery. The company became best known for Clarity-IA, a next-generation anesthesia and sedation platform designed to enable delivery of inhaled anesthetics and sedatives in settings such as the ICU and procedural suites. Publicly available evidence indicates that First Wave Technologies later became known as Rheos Medical, which continues development of the platform and related gas-delivery devices. As a result, First Wave Technologies appears to be a legacy/predecessor corporate name rather than the currently operating brand.
