FirstGuard was a medical technology company focused on the early detection of breast cancer through non-invasive screening methods. The company developed a proprietary thermal sensing technology, often referred to as the FirstGuard Breast Cancer Screening System, which utilized Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) to identify physiological changes in breast tissue. Unlike traditional mammography, the FirstGuard system was designed to be radiation-free and painless, targeting younger women and those with dense breast tissue who might not be ideal candidates for standard screenings.
