Flavor Producers

Flavor Producers is a U.S.-based manufacturer of natural, organic, and plant-based flavors and extracts used primarily in food, beverage, nutrition, and nutraceutical applications. The company develops custom flavor systems and ingredient solutions for commercial customers, with capabilities spanning flavor creation, extract development, and related manufacturing. Founded in 1981, it built a position in natural and certified organic flavoring and serves hundreds of customers. In April 2024, Glanbia announced an agreement to acquire Flavor Producers for an initial consideration of $300 million plus deferred consideration, and the business is being operated within Glanbia's Nutritional Solutions organization. Although it has exposure to nutraceutical customers, Flavor Producers is not primarily a biotech, pharma, or healthcare therapeutics company.
