Florida Biologics was a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) specializing in the production of biologics and viral vectors for gene therapy. Based in Alachua, Florida, the company provided process development and clinical-stage manufacturing services to biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients. In 2016, Florida Biologics was acquired by Brammer Bio, which sought to expand its capacity for cell and gene therapy manufacturing. Brammer Bio was subsequently acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2019, and the Florida Biologics facilities now operate as part of Thermo Fisher's Viral Vector Services division.
