Florida Cardiovascular Institute

Florida Cardiovascular Institute (FCI) is a premier cardiology practice and clinical research center based in Tampa, Florida. Established in 1999, the institute merged with USF Health in 2014 to form the largest academic clinical cardiology practice in the region. FCI provides comprehensive cardiovascular services, including interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and non-invasive diagnostics, and is a primary affiliate of Tampa General Hospital. The institute is a significant participant in clinical research, conducting numerous industry-sponsored and federally funded trials for innovative cardiovascular therapies and medical devices. By combining high-volume clinical care with the research infrastructure of the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine, FCI plays a leading role in advancing cardiovascular science and medical education.
