Florida Health Care Association

The Florida Health Care Association (FHCA) is the state's largest advocacy organization representing long-term care providers and the seniors they serve. Founded in 1954, the association represents over 80% of Florida's nursing centers, along with assisted living facilities and other post-acute care providers. FHCA provides its members with legislative advocacy, professional development, and quality improvement resources to enhance the standard of care for Florida's elderly population. The organization operates as a non-profit trade association and is a state affiliate of the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living.
