FluroTest Diagnostic Systems

FluroTest Diagnostic Systems was a diagnostics company focused on high-output rapid antigen testing platforms for SARS-CoV-2 and other pathogens. The company developed an automated, point-of-access testing system that combined robotics automation, biochemistry, fluorescence detection, and cloud computing to process large volumes of samples in venues, workplaces, transportation hubs, and healthcare settings. FluroTest operated as a subsidiary of FluroTech and pursued U.S. FDA Emergency Use Authorization and Canadian regulatory pathways during the COVID-19 pandemic. In December 2022, FluroTech sold all shares of FluroTest Diagnostic Systems to an arm’s-length individual for nominal consideration, suggesting the business was effectively discontinued or no longer active as a meaningful operating biotech/diagnostics company.
