FLX Micro

FLX Micro, Inc. was a technology company specializing in the development and manufacture of silicon carbide-based microsensors and micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS). Spun out of research from the University of California, Berkeley, the company leveraged a proprietary silicon carbide deposition and microfabrication platform to create sensors capable of operating in harsh environments, including high temperatures and corrosive conditions. While its technology found applications in the automotive, energy, and aerospace sectors, it also targeted the healthcare and life sciences industries through the development of biocompatible sensors and nanowire arrays for biological detection.
