Fondation La Teppe

Fondation La Teppe (formerly known as Institut La Teppe) is a historic French medical, social, and clinical research center founded in 1856 and based in Tain-l'Hermitage. It is a leading national center in France specializing in the treatment, care, and clinical research of epilepsy, mental health, and associated disabilities. The foundation operates a specialized medical center, including a clinical research unit, alongside a dozen medico-social facilities such as specialized care homes and nursing homes. Through collaborations with academic institutions and industry partners, Fondation La Teppe actively participates in clinical trials, digital health projects (such as the Detec Teppe seizure-detection patch), and therapeutic education programs to improve the quality of life for patients with refractory epilepsy.
