FONDAZIONE SERENA

Fondazione Serena is an Italian non-profit organization dedicated to providing specialized clinical care and multidisciplinary support for individuals affected by neuromuscular diseases. The foundation manages the Centro Clinico NEMO (Neuromuscular Omnicentre) network, which operates several high-specialization centers across Italy, including locations in Milan, Rome, Naples, and Messina. Its primary focus includes treating complex conditions such as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), and various forms of muscular dystrophy. In addition to patient care, Fondazione Serena is a key player in clinical research, serving as a major site for international clinical trials and collaborating with pharmaceutical companies to develop new therapeutic strategies for rare neurological disorders.
