Forensic Alliance was a leading UK-based forensic science service provider specializing in laboratory testing, DNA profiling, and complex evidence analysis. Founded in 1997 by Dr. Angela Gallop, the company established itself as a premier private-sector alternative to the UK's Forensic Science Service, gaining fame for its work on high-profile cold cases. Its scientific capabilities included toxicology, forensic ecology, and firearms examination, serving over 35 of the UK's 43 police forces. In 2005, the company was acquired by LGC Group for £20 million and merged into LGC Forensics, creating the largest private forensic science resource in the country.
