Company intelligence / Profile preview
Forensic Quality Services (FQS) was a premier accreditation body dedicated to the forensic science community, providing ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation to forensic testing and calibration laboratories. As the first domestic accrediting body in the United States to offer these international standards to forensic agencies, FQS played a pivotal role in enhancing the reliability of forensic evidence in the justice system. The organization specialized in auditing laboratories involved in DNA analysis, toxicology, drug chemistry, and firearms examination. In 2011, FQS was acquired by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB), where its specialized forensic accreditation programs were integrated into ANAB's broader portfolio of quality services.
