ForLikeMinds is a mental health platform and peer-to-peer support community dedicated to the recovery and wellness of individuals living with mental illness, substance use disorders, or stressful life events. Founded by Katherine Ponte, who has lived experience with bipolar I disorder, the platform provides a secure and anonymous space for members and their supporters to connect in relatable micro-communities. It leverages an evidence-based peer support model to help users share lived experiences, gain insights, and overcome the stigma associated with mental health conditions. The service is free for users and offers tools for one-on-one and group engagement based on shared backgrounds, conditions, and demographics. ForLikeMinds is recognized as a Certified Women-Owned Enterprise and maintains strong ties with academic and advocacy organizations like Yale University and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
