Fornix Laboratories

Fornix Laboratories was a specialized Dutch pharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of allergy diagnostics and immunotherapy products. As a market leader in the Netherlands, the company provided a range of subcutaneous and sublingual immunotherapy treatments designed to address various environmental and insect allergens. Its flagship product lines, including Oralgen and Venomen, were central to the management of allergic rhinitis and life-threatening insect sting reactions. In 2010, the allergy division was acquired by the Danish allergy specialist ALK-Abelló for approximately 19.5 million Euros. This strategic acquisition allowed ALK-Abelló to integrate Fornix's established distribution network and product portfolio into its global operations.
